Don’t Blame Islam for Australia’s Multicultural Failure

In The Punch today there was an article by a well connected muslim writer titled, “Don’t blame muslims for multiculturalism’s failure”. He is of course, part right, multiculturalism was imposed on us by Left wing idealogues and bleeding hearts and had its problems well before we started importing truck loads of muslims with their perverted view of reality. It’s just got worse now that our main import is muslims.

Anyway, among the dozens of comments the article generated was this one which is one of the best written, most sensible posts I have seen on The Punch. It is also spot on about Islam.

There is no general evidence that Muslims integrate well into western societies. Look at France, UK, Austria, Netherlands and Germany. Islam is not JUST a religion, its a political ideology with no separation between the church and the state. On all measures we (western society) value, life expectancy, infant mortality, books translated, freedom of speech, GDP per person, domestic violence, patents registered, univeristies in the top 500,…. the Islamic countries lag by a country mile. And one of the reasons is the “religion of peace”. Look up “wife beating islam” on you tube. Dozens of videos from many Muslim countries where “scholars” suggest how to best beat your wife. You might suggest I am just cherry picking one cultural aspect. Nope there are lots of practices that are both common and barbaric. We bring large numbers of these people into out country at our peril. UK, France, Germany and Netherlands are ruing this already.

Dont take my word for this. Google “france Polygamy ” or “Germany Polygamy “. The evidence is there to see. Austria now has a Blashpemy law. As an athiest I find this absurd. We spent 500 years in the west getting the church out of public life and government only to have the “religion of peace”, that is unable to endure ANY criticism, creep the inquisition back by stealth. Again, dont take my word for it; Google “Elisabeth Sabaditsch” and read. Islam needs to ridiculed at every opportunity and we should never, ever let go of freedom of speech, particularly when people quote real, actual evidence. If we can no longer anchor our public discussions on facts, the rule of law is gone. If the facts are ugly and hurtful, toughen up princess, you don’t have the right to not be offended. Thats how freedom of speech works.

I find it ironic that Muslims like living in the west with all the great utility and freedom that a western society has, yet want to introduce 7th century sharia law, a practice that has abjectly failed in the countries they left. If the introduction of Sharia were successful western society would almost certainly decline, as freedom of speech and the tradition of inquiry and criticism essential for a vibrant scientific and cultural life disappear.

If only our local Imams would:

1) renounce taqiyya ( this needs to be done first)
2) assert the separation of state and church
3) renounce the doctrine of martyrdom and jihad
4) renounce sharia mandated dhimmitude5) asset the equal value of women in the eyes of Islam
6) renounce honour killings.
7) renounce Genital mutilation of young girls
renounce polygamy
9) death for aspostates must be renounced. (what an insecure religion)

We would all be fine I suspect. But this is not going to happen. Our local Imam (Mr Hilaly) takes one foot out of his mouth to put the other one in, making outrageous comments that confirm his lack of sensitivity to our local culture. As per free speech I support his right to say what he likes, but when he makes speeches such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/taj_el-din_hilaly#february_2004_sermon he can expect no respect at all. As a public person he needs to be and to be seen to be supportive of the broader community, and statements like this dont help.

Now the average “moderate” Muslim may not practice or adhere to the items I listed above, but the clergy are right behind these practices as evidenced by the UK, German, French and Dutch experience. Look for it on the web. If you are an average Muslim you need to stand up and be heard, because currently I, and most people in the west base our judgements on evidence, not on myths propagated by the OIC and other Islamic public organs. Blog on the web, get published in your local paper. Get on these forums , condemn jihad attacks, make a contribution.

Of all the traits of Islam I see, the one that galls me the most, apart from the physical atrocities metered out in the name of the “religion of peace”, is its inability to stomach criticism. Any criticism is Islamaphobia, now renamed Blashempy in Austria, even when FACTS are used in augments.

The benefit of Islam to societies is evident everywhere Islam is found. If you can only tell me what a few of those benefits are, I will be happy to listen.

Star Trek Superior to Islam

Star Trek, the story about the adventures of Star Fleet and it’s, “five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.” wasn’t just some Mickey Mouse television serial intended to earn money. It represented a well designed, wholistic organisation with it’s Mission, Standard Operating Proedures and most importantly, it’s Prime Directive:

“As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no Star Fleet personnel may interfere with the healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes the introduction of superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. Star Fleet personnel may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their ship unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation.”

Star Fleet was a moral organisation that cared even about the lives of aliens. Compare that to, the organisation of Islam, and you will see that Star Fleet, the fictitious organisation is far, far superior to Islam the organisation whose Prime Directive is happy to trample on anyone to promote its continuation.

Islam’s Prime Directive, according to its doctrine, is to bring the law of Allah (known as Sharia) to all people on earth, by force or otherwise. Sharia law is evil and obviously not the work of a supreme being of love and forgiveness. Anyone who would think that it is, is obviously twice deluded.

Inquiry into Islam provides an excellent overview of the Prime Goal of Islam. Read it and if you don’t agree that the Prime Directive of Star Trek is more noble than the Prime Goal of Islam, I will be astonished. Write and astonish me and explain why.

Geert Wilders’ Speech at Rome on 25 Mar 2011

Geert Wilders is a Dutch politician who is trying to save Europe from becoming an Islamic caliphate. In Western terms, he is a hero. He is a man of moral courage willing to speak against the wrongs that he sees befalling Western countries.

He has been charged with hate speech for telling the truth about Islam and what it is doing to European countries. Although his speech did not include anything hateful, discussing Islam has become a challenge in some societies. Say what you like about Christianity, Buddhism, Zen, Taoism or any of the other faiths and nobody cares. But, say something about Islam, even though it is the truth and you speak hatred. This is the world we now live in where Islam threatens to impose itself through violent and non-violent means anywhere it can.

Geert Wilders gave a speech at Rome and this is an extract of a small part of it:

I am here today to talk about multiculturalism. This term has a number of different meanings. I use the term to refer to a specific political ideology. It advocates that all cultures are equal. If they are equal, it follows that the state is not allowed to promote any specific cultural values as central and dominant. In other words: multiculturalism holds that the state should not promote a leitkultur, which immigrants have to accept if they want to live in our midst.

It is this ideology of cultural relativism which the German Chancellor Angela Merkel recently referred to when she said that multiculturalism has proved “an absolute failure.”

My friends, I dare say that we have known this all along. Indeed, the premise of the multiculturalist ideology is wrong. Cultures are not equal. They are different, because their roots are different. That is why the multiculturalists try to destroy our roots.

You can, and should, read Geert’s speech here. It is long and he creates a parallel with the fall of the Roman Empire which is interesting and informative. He says almost all that needs to be said.

Although there are many moderate muslims, Islam is evil and it enables evil things to be done all over the world every day. Those muslims who call themselves moderate, don’t seem to have the moral fortitude to stand up to their peers, probably because they know that to be a modrate muslim is not to follow the full and complete word of the Koran.

If you do nothing else today, read Geert Wilders’ full speech. Do something that will help stop the evil of Islam spreading through our free, democratic societies like a disease.

The Terrifying Brilliance of Islam

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED why millions of Muslim men are dedicated to killing Americans? Or why so many are willing to blow themselves up to kill Israelis? Or why they are so committed to blowing up random people in Bali, London, Madrid, etc.?

Islamic supremacists are doing this all over the world, attacking Westerners and their own fellow Muslims alike. Why? Because of a doctrine. A doctrine is a collection of ideas. These could be customs, words, beliefs, etc. A religion is not a single idea; it is a collection of ideas. The collection of ideas that make up the religion of Islam makes Muslims behave and feel as they do.

Collections of ideas compete with each other in the same way that collections of cells (organisms) compete with each other. And because idea-collections compete, and because new ideas can often be added or subtracted from the collection, and because some collections gain more believers than others, collections of ideas can actually evolve.

Let’s look at how religious idea-collections evolve and compete. To begin with, let’s assume we already have a religion established. It already has a holy book and millions of people are already believers. And then there is a slight variation. Read the whole story here.

Are Government Policies Divisive?

I was astonished to see the advertisement herein in a newspaper seeking to spend public money on promotion of cultural and linguistic diversity. Surely there are more pressing needs for public funding than on projects that add to the division within communities.

On 21 March we have Harmony Day, apparently intended to help us all live harmoniously which is something that every sensible person wants. It sure as hell won’t happen as long as governments actively encourage cultural and linguistic diversity.

President Ted Roosevelt (USA) said,

“The one absolutely certain way to bringing this nation ruin, or preventing all possibility of it continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a nation of squabbling nationalities.”

With the thousands of muslim refugees pouring into the country, we’ll have more than enough cultural and linguistic diversity in the next few years to keep us busy squabbling. Promoting diversity instead of unity is divisive.

Doesn’t anyone in power read what is happening in every European country, the US, Canada, and listen to what European heads of government are saying about multiculturalism and Islamism?

This is another of many examples of plain stupid public policy and waste of scare resources. We should be trying to create one Australia, not dividing it into a nation of squabbling nationalities. Who dreams up this nonsense?
